Excellent holiday in peaceful relaxing surroundings over looking the lake. The private outdoor area with the barbeque is spacious and the hot tub is wonderful to return to after walking in the Lakes. The lodge itself is maintained to a high standard and you receive a friendly welcome upon arrival including wine and chocolates. Would definitely recommend.

This lodge has a beautiful outlook over Lake Windermere, with the mist over the mountains in the morning (in October) it is a fantastic view. The hot tub outside the bedroom is an added bonus.

The photos do not do this lodge justice, it is great! An excellent site, the owners were friendly, everthingthing you could need was there, the hot tub was fabulous and the wine and chocs were a nice thought. We did lots of walking so the hot tub was much appreciated - thank you!

If you want to get away from it all this is the place. Accomodation is very clean and well presented. There was the odd low flying jet but not too much of a nusence . Peace and quiet and the hot tub was great for relaxing after a busy day.

The lodge accommodation was furnished to a very high standard and everything you could need was supplied. It had beautiful views across the lake and a dip in the hot tub was a fantastic way to end the day.
